My name is Sharon Ferney of Ferney Designs. I have always been creative by

drawing & painting etc, my mind never stops thinking about the next thing I could

make or new processes I could try. I create jewellery from sterling silver wire, sheet silver

and copper wire also gold if preferred. I purchase all my precious metals from Birmingham Jewellery Quarter so I know it’s all genuine and high quality. I work in my studio every minute

I get when I’m not working full time because making things is a passion of mine, even

as a child I used to draw, paint and make my own clothes. I’m a gardener, seamstress,

interior designer, wood worker, artist, teacher, mother and I still constantly wonder what

else I could do if I never had to sleep.

Many years ago I worked on a drawing board for the local council and eventually progressed on to computers using AutoCAD (Computer Aided Design). I Studied 3 years for a Diploma in Art & Design part time and 2 years AutoCAD and Desktop publishing. Over the years I have also worked teaching in adult education after completing all teaching qualifications, even caring for the elderly at one time which is a really rewarding job and great experience but after work I was still always creating.

I have many different products, each stone I purchase inspires me to make my next piece of jewellery and the stones I purchase come from all over the world.

Each piece of jewellery will be hand crafted and could take a few days or weeks depending on the size and the complexity of the item required. If you require a customised item, make sure you order more than a few weeks beforehand as we may have earlier orders pending, along with the time it may take to complete your order, please also make sure you consider the delivery timing. Each item will be beautifully boxed with our logo on top giving you the perfect professional overall look to the product.
