Availability

We try to keep our stock levels as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a product will always be in stock when you place an order. If for some reason we cannot supply a product we will contact you so make sure you leave contact details email or phone number.

 

All products and offers are available while stocks last. Personalised items made to a specific size that we don't keep in stock are made to order. We will advise you by e-mail the estimated delivery time.

 

Quality & Care

All items will be checked before being posted most of the items are made with products that could possible injure if not treated with care, wire work is fragile so take care and look after the items and they will last you a long time. We are not liable for any damage caused by ill treatment of the item which could then incur injury to yourself in any way.

 

Ordering

You can place your order online via this website also through contacting us via; Facebook, Instagram or calls/text. Orders placed after 2pm on week days will be processed next working day and orders placed on weekend will be processed the following week day.

Returns

For Repairs & Returns: If for ANY reason, you do not like the piece(s) of jewellery you purchased from Ferney Designs, please feel free to return it in the same condition as was when you bought it, and we will gladly refund your purchase price within a limited time. Please contact us before returning any piece so we will be aware of the return and can take care of the problem immediately, you will have to contact us within 2 days of purchase.

When returning goods, it is your responsibility to ensure the item is posted back and received in good condition. For valuable items we recommend you take out postage insurance to cover any loss or damage in transit and send the item as a recorded delivery. We cannot be held liable for any returned goods lost or damaged during transit. If for any reason any piece you purchase has a defect in materials or craftsmanship, you must contact us straight away.

It is your responsibility to pay return postage on any item because you’ve changed your mind and is not damaged in any way. Some items can not be returned once bought, such as earnings for health and safety reasons, these will be clearly labelled.

 

Pricing

While we always try to make sure our prices are accurate, mistakes do occur. If we find an error in pricing of any product, we reserve the right to change the price on your order to the correct amount. We will contact you as soon as possible with this information and you will have the opportunity to re-confirm the order or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically be cancelled.

 

Delivery costs are calculated during the checkout process and you will have the opportunity to select from a range of Royal Mail & Courier delivery services based on the weight and size of the item/s you are ordering. Or in some cases delivery costs are already added.

 

Non-EU customers are responsible for any Import Duties or Tax in their country. Please ask your local customs office for more details regarding this.

 

Payment

Your order must be paid for in full before delivery can be made. Payment must be made payable by PayPal for our safety and your piece of mind.

 IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION (For Paintings)

For painting deliveries i will instruct a painting courier to deliver to your door, this way there will be less chance of damage and delivery will be included in the price of the item shown.

(for UK residents only).

Please remember to leave details of where you would like your painting delivered.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION (For Jewellery)

All items will be sent special delivery guaranteed or recorded delivery so that items have less chance of getting lost in the post and can be tracked. Please note that if you select special delivery guaranteed your item will be insured and if you select recorded delivery it will not be insured, therefor we will not be held responsible for any losses or cost of items that get lost in the post. (Please check royal mail website for updated information).

Ferney Designs will pay for recorded delivery but if you wish to have your item sent by any other way listed here you will have to pay the extra costs.

 

Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed explained:-

When you’re sending something important or valuable, you need to know it’s secure at every stage of the delivery. With Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed™ services your item will arrive safely, and on time.

This includes:

  • Track important documents online and get signed proof of delivery

  • Compensation cover for sending jewellery, cash or other valuables

 

 

Royal Mail International Delivery explained:-

International Economy

Affordable answer to posting overseas when you’re not in a rush. It’s easy to use and ideal for heavier items. Compensation is included and aim to deliver your mail to:

Western Europe in up to 2 weeks

Eastern Europe in up to 5 weeks

North America in up to 6 weeks

South America, Africa and Asia in up to 8 weeks

Australia in up to 12 weeks

 

Royal Mail International Signed explained:-

All tracking and signature services aim to deliver to Europe within 3-5 working days and worldwide within 5-7 working days.

Security - Tracking and Signature items are processed in a separate network while they’re in the UK. Provide proof of posting and compensation up to £100 as standard for the tracked services with extra compensation up to £300 to protect valuable items against loss or damage. For Signed the standard level of compensation is £50 with extra compensation up to £250. Your item will be tracked until it leaves the UK and only handed over at its final destination once we have a signature from the recipient.

 

Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed explained:-

  • Before you order, It’s the purchaser’s responsibility to pay any other extra shipping costs.

 

  • We use Royal Mail and a selection of commercial courier services to deliver your items.

 

  • If an item is lost in transit, please allow 15 days before it can be officially classed as lost. This meets the terms and conditions set out by Royal Mail. If you think an item may be lost, please contact us via email and we will do our best to assist you.

 

  • We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated but we will not be held liable for any issues caused to you by late delivery.

 

  • Orders sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day will get to you within 1-2 working days if the item/s are in stock. Please remember that wire wrapped items and tiaras will take a while to make so you should expect your item at minimum within a week you would need to email Ferney Designs to let us know when item would be required so we could let you know if this is possible before you order your item.

 

  • Next day delivery is not available for the Highlands & Islands of Scotland or any location outside of the United Kingdom. Please provide an address where someone can accept the delivery. If we have to try again you'll be charged again.

 

  • Placing an order via one of these methods described above means that you are agreeing to buy the product(s) at the price stated subject to these terms.

 

  • After placing an order online, we'll send you an automatic email confirming the order. This initial confirmation email does not necessarily mean that the item is in stock and ready, this email just confirms that we have got information on the order you would like to be processed. If we cannot process your order for whatever reason we will contact you either by email or phone to discuss the options.

 

 

Faulty Goods (Return's)

 

  • Please include all internal packaging, including protective boxes or bags in which was sent with the item.

 

  • Any products that have been modified or physically altered shall be deemed Warranty Void.

 

  • Please obtain and include a receipt for postage and include this with your item(s) if you would like a refund of your return postage costs. We cannot refund postage unless you provide us with a postal receipt for the costs incurred.

 

  • If you have requested a refund, please allow up to 30 days for any monies to reach your account / show up on your card statement.

 

 

The Distance Selling Regulations 2000

  • To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to us by letter sent to or email to sfjewellery@outlook.com giving details of the goods ordered and date received etc.

 

  • Please note you will be responsible for returning the goods to Ferney Designs at your own cost.

 

  • The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 states that you must take reasonable care of the goods until they have been returned. Items must be securely packaged and sent with adequate insurance to cover any damages in transit. We recommend using a delivery service that requires a signature as proof of delivery. Items returned damaged or  in imperfect condition will be returned to the customer.

 

  • Ferney Designs will refund your purchase of the item within 30 days after receiving. This doesn’t include delivery costs.

 

  • If after exercising your right under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you do not return the goods in a timely manner, Ferney Designs may charge you for the direct costs of recovering the goods therefor if not returned then a refund will not be completed.

 

  • When returning goods under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 please send to our PO BOX ( email us first). Please include a copy of your order with the item.

 

Returning an item

  • You can return items to us by posting them back to the address below. Please include your name and address details and state reason of return. Pack the items back in the parcel, attach the invoice and send it back to:
